After-school mentoring for kids in need, internships that connect youth to community businesses and the world of work, lifeskills workshops that open up conversations about violence, self-esteem and racism-- these are just a few of the ways that AMYLA reaches and empowers youth. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, AMYLA has run over X programs consistently since it opened its doors in 2007. Our supporters have become part of the AMYLA family, and are helping to brighten the future and expand opportunities for at-risk youth in Washington D.C.
